Shameful rebooking/cancelation MSC policy

Hello,

The current MSC position regarding rebooking or cancelation is shameful.
Canceled flights, closed ports, ships in quarantine.
The unbelievable criteria to entry to ship-temperature under 37.5.
US State department, CDC warns public to avoid traveling on cruise ships...

But the MSC repeating-you have to come (if you will find some still operating flight), we can deny entry to ship, because 37.5 body temperature, we possible will be refused to entry to selected destinations, we maybe will quarantined, we will stress you and your children with all of this …

But you have to come. No choice.

Select different company for cruise please. :(

Sad decisions on their part. There’s no compensation for the decision to travel with them again as other cruise lines are doing.

This is sad!😪 There’s no reward for staying with them!

So, the US has closed its borders for people from Europe. Still no word from MSC even though it's literally impossible to embark on the cruise now.

It's look like new rebooking police is valid for US customers only.

This company is simply unbelievable. Simply unbelievable. :(

MSC offers rebooking on their Mediterranean cruises only. That really boggles my mind, since they sail worldwide. Not much help for people with cruises reserved in the Caribbean - even though their ship wasn't admitted to multiple ports due to a suspicious passenger onboard a few weeks ago (if I remember correctly, he wasn't even infected in the end).

I see that there is now a new article to assist people with cancellation policies

I put a like to this only because I like that you are keeping us informed. Not because I like the policy, Thanks!

We have a change: but annouced for North American passengers only?

I asked for rebooking in Europe (but for carribean cruise) few hours ago, and I was refused.

Who understand this company ... I will don't try this in future again.

A bit harsh.....

Remind me not to consider MSC for a cruise. If they have not issued a new temp cancel policy by now then anything they do moving forward can only be viewed as not caring about their customer base. They just fell off of my list for any consideration.
