Do You Enjoy The Private Island or Beach Stops on Caribbean Cruises?

Many cruise lines traveling through the Caribbean now stop at their Private Island or Private Beach. Do you enjoy these stops? Do you eat the BBQs served there or go back to the ship to eat? Do you even get off the ship? Would you prefer to visit a different island for sightseeing? Let's hear your thoughts. Gloria

We love spending the day at any of the cruise line “private island” ports! How come lunch tastes so much better when you’re sitting on the beach?

We like the private islands. Mainly because we end up with the ship practically to ourselves. Woo hoo------- pools aren't crowded. Spa is empty. No long food lines. What's not to like ?

will do, While snow this early is unusual, and does not last, we expect that winter will be here in October and last until May, So there will be plenty of pictures of a snow covered deck.

Hello Johngold, wow snow already! I live right by the beach so these private island or private beach stops are not so important to me. Right here in FL it is 76 degrees and it is 8:30 AM. The next time you have snow post a photo for us to enjoy.

I will be watching for answers on this post, as I have not been to these places.

Like I've mentioned before we live in Northern Alberta so any short cruise from FLA cost to much to fly, while the cruises themselves are reasonably priced.

Just to give you guys an idea..... We have already had snow......So tropical islands are a very real temptation.....
