Close Call Getting Back on Ship ....

On a Princess Cruise ported in Victoria, BC, my son was late getting back to the ship. Surprisingly, someone called me and asked for his cell # and told me they would wait 25 minutes for him. A courtesy I did not expect ... He arrived 5 minutes later with 4 other passengers who had been delayed in traffic. Cutting it way too close not a good thing.

That was a close call! I watched a few Mighty Ship shows and the decision to wait is a heavy one.... Lots of repercussions and expenses.

Very surprised at that but they told us later that about 30 minutes before leaving the port, they check who scanned off the ship and who scanned back on the ship. If two people are traveling together and one is back on and the other is not, they call the cabin.

Wow, at least people on the case quickly.
