Helpful VotesMother Mother Ocean, I have heard you call... Busy life, I'm a busy wife. 5 daughters I love with all my heart, and a sweet little dog too. I'm truly blessed. When I get a chance, I head for the port! Hope to see you onboard. God bless!

Majesty of the Seas
Sail date: June 12, 2017
What made this cruise 5 stars was the day we spent at Coco Cay. The improvements made recently on the island have drastically improved the quality of time spent there. The weather, of course, was beautiful, but it isn't always. Thank you Father God for PERFECT weather for the day! We walked past the first grouping of chairs, then the second, and around the bend, and found the "swim-up" bar. It's quite small, but accommodates a bartender and just enough refreshment to supply the cruisers in the water and on the nearby beach. Hot Dogs and Watermelon, water and iced tea were nearby on the beach. Don't miss a chance to getaway to this beach!

Cruise tips
Grab a cab, or take a bus ($1.25 PP) and go to Baha Mar. The brand new hotel / casino is right on the beach. No charge to walk around, go to the beach. BUT beware, the pools are for hotel guests only, for now. Stunning hotel lobby, huge casino, beautiful landscaping.
Go visit the new Baha Mar hotel, grounds, and casino. Fabulous!
Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)
My favorite place in the world! Don't stop at the first grouping of chairs - keep walking! There's so much more to see!
If you have time pre- or post-cruise, visit the new Visitor's Center that gives history of the area.
Bahamas Handprints in Nassau is a "don't miss" if you appreciate fabric art, are a seamstress, or just like to watch things made. Located near the bridge to Atlantis.
