Wonderful Anniversary Cruise

Wonderful time on Vision. Yes it is a smaller ship, but to my husband and I we felt like staff took care of us. Dining we were not being rushed to eat dinner, during speciality dining (Izumi we had an amazing dinner) our waiter really recommended food to us as we never ate their before and we sailed on 11 RCCL Ships. Chef’s Table we were there for 4 hours, the host and chef were excellent. Out of 2700 people that the ships holds, we only had around 1990 on their. Smaller ships really do know how to take care of the people that travel on them. IMO.

Cruise tips

Cartagena, Colombia

We did the Bird Avery which is south in Colombia, most excursions went north we were the only ones who went south. Pretty area to see.

Oranjestad, Aruba

No excursions. Ship stayed overnight in port, for me was kinda neat as I never stayed over in port before where you can get off any time of night. We got off the next day and just explored port shopping.

Vision of the Seas

Vision of the Seas

There may not be much to do on this ship but enjoy the time while you’re on Vision. You’re on vacation. Relax by the pool, Schooner Bar, Centrum, in one of the lounges just watching the water as you cruise. Making new friends. This is what cruising is all about.

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

For the time of year we left, went November 16, this port was not busy at all. We left on a Wednesday. Usually we leave from here on a Saturday or Sunday and could be a little busy but we were the only ship here. Port Everglades is much easier to navigate than Miami.

Colon, Panama

Panama Canal. Enough said…lol Absolutely amazing. Although our original excursion was canceled we did adventure out on our own and went to both the old lock and new locks. Our tour guide was amazing and taught us everything about the locks. This is a once in a life time must see.
