We are on board NOTS. From the time we were dropped off by our Uber driver until we walked in board, 45 minutes. Boarding was smooth and effortless. My cheers to Royal Caribbean on their efficient boarding process.
June 2016 - 7 Night Eastern Caribbean (Port Canaveral Roundtrip) Cruise on Freedom of the Seas
This was a beautiful ship with a great crew. Our group of seven had a great time. We even booked an excursion in St Maarten from Ship Mate. The only downside was we missed our sop at Coco Cay due to heavy weather. We gained an extra day at sea and another day in and around the pool. There is so much to see and do on the ship alone that the extra day helped.

Freedom of the Seas

Cruise tips
By far our favorite island of the ABC Islands. We would love to retire their and maybe have a beach side bar. There is some new development taking place but this island is not as crowded or as busy as the other two islands.
We highly recommend booking the Antilla Shipwreck Snorkel tour found on Shipmate. This tour has a great crew and some great snorkeling. They offer food and an open bar with plenty of rum and other drinks. They food offering is one sandwich but it is something after two Snorkel stops. They also have a great rope swing and slide on their boat. They provided a great day of fun.
Bonaire, Netherlands Special Municipality
If you stop in Bonaire we recommend renting a golf cart from Bonaire Cruisers. For $90you can rent a cart for the day. You are free to drive wherever you’d like and explore the island. This was a gem of a find in my opinion.
This was a wonderful port visit. We booked a tour through Shipmate that took us to the French side for a beach visit and then to Mayo Beach. Our driver was hilarious and very knowledgeable about the island.
Labadee (Cruise Line Private Island)
We will be in Labadee in January 2018. I know you have to pay to use a mat on the water. However, we are thinking of bringing our own. You know, the air mattresses you use in your own pool that you can buy for under $5 at Walmart? Has anyone ever done that? I'm wondering if they would make you put it away.
