Review summary
We departed for a seven day cruise on the Zuiderdam June 25, 2005. This was our second cruise. Our first cruise was a family reunion cruise on a different line, but we wanted to try Holland America this time. We were in a group with two other couples. For the most part, HAL lived up to its reputation for great service, but the one thing we missed was there was no calypso, reggea, or soca music. We were sailing in the Caribbean afterall!. We are planning another family reunion cruise next year and are specifically looking at the entertainment each line offers.Pros: staff was very friendly
