The crew is very helpful getting people on and off the ship when docked. Otherwise, you are are mostly on your own. I pushed my Dad around for several years. Hopefully you will have another person to assist. Cobblestones are very difficult. Ramps / curb cuts are often lacking. If your wheelchair user can stand and walk a few steps, it will help. Good luck.

Lookup scooter rentals for wheelchair users. Google "electric scooter rental (your port) cruise."I am traveling from FLL with my aunt and renting one. They drop it off at your cabin and come pick it up from the ship. This way the wheelchair users aren't restricted to being pushed and have some independence.

The crew is very helpful getting on and off the ship. Otherwise you’re on your own. It can be a major walk just getting to the busses. Few are accessible although HAL does have a few accessible excursions. The steps in the bus are quite high. Cobblestones are difficult. My sister and I took our Dad for years. I pushed. A pair of gloves for hand protection was helpful

I am not concerned with excursions. I am concerned about leaving these two people behind on the ship. Will the crew help the person that is in the wheelchair (if needed)?
