Get ready to do some walking. Its a huge Ship

This is our second time sailing on an Oasis class ship. The first time was wow! The ship is huge! The second time was underwhelming since it’s very similar.

Book your entertainment early, we ended up on standby for many shows
Grana
I would tell the yo do the anytime dinning so that did not have to skip shows because of time conflicts with dinning.

To take advantage of all the promotions they have on the first day. Participate in many activities they offer onboard. Also, the onboard credit provided by cruises.com is not shown on the account until the second day. The premium drink package is worth it. Most people thinks it's just for alcohol but it includes premium coffee, red bull, & bottle water which you will need a lot of! Also, you can use your package when you go to specialty restaurants so you end up with just a small bill.

Make your reservations for shows way before you board and they fill up quickly.

Book shows as early as possible and arrive early at the venue

Get up early on sea-days and reserve a chair at the pool. I know it's against the rules---and we didn't do it---but I'm convinved it's the only way to get a chair next to your spouse, esepcially if you are looking for shade because you've had to deal with skin cancer.

Plan to walk stairs, much faster than crowded elevators

The ship is HUGE. If we were to sail Wonder again, we would stay on the Aft side rather than Forward. It seemed no matter where we needed to go, it was always on the OTHER side of where we were standing. But the venues and main dining rooms are aft. Also, bring a card carrier for your lanyard. They can no longer pop holes in cards because it would ruin the chip inside. I wish we had known that before we sailed; card carriers are $10 each onboard.

Pre-book as much as you can before the cruise. Shows open up about 45days out and will be 'sold-out' in no time. Pace yourself, dont eat so much at one meal that you cant enjoy the next. (That was our mistake lol) The Wonder is a HUGE ship. There's no way to experience everything in one week, but you can hit up the highlights if you plan well.

Forgot to mention. I was not sure how I would like using their app. I liked it, the calendar, planner, booking capabilities. So important to pre book shows, dining, packages to get what you want and not worry about booking on the ship.
