We had a wonderful time on the Wonder of the Seas. On embarkation day there were soooo many people we though that everything would be crowded all the time but, as the days went on, it seemed that everyone kind of spread out and there were plenty of places to relax quietly or party hardy. There were actually more things to do than we had time for. The lines to Sprinkles and Sorrentos were always long (but both moved pretty fast) and having a reservation for all of the shows and events took a lot of pressure off of worrying about getting in and waiting in line. Overall, great vacation. Can't wait for the next cruise!
Embarkation

Easy. All of our paperwork was in order and out photos had already been taken. Allwe had to do was check in.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

So many restaurants. The problem with so many options is that we spent very little time in the main dining room which meant we didn't spend a lot of time with the wonderfil waiters there. But we never had a bad experneince in any of the restaurants we visited.
Onboard Activities

I did the zip line and the Ultimate Abyss. Both were fun. The zip line was really short. I wish it had gone across a larger part of the ship.
Entertainment

We went to almost every show. By the time we got to see the comedian in the Attic (for which we had reservations) there was nowhere left to sit. These shows should be moved back to the theater. The Attic is much, much too small a venue on such a large ship.
Children's Programs
My kids are adults.
Service and Staff

Our cabin steward was Liliana and she was fabulous. Sweet and efficient, our room was always spotless, and she left ice for us every day as requested. Kerwyn and Dominidor in the MDR were excellent. Kerwyn has a wonderful personality and almost made us regret the specialty dining. Eliza was our waiter at 150 Central Park and we had a wonderful meal there. He gave us the opportunity to try other items on the menu as well. He was very kind. Japhet was our waiter at Izumi and he was also great. The food was delicious. We did have a reservation complication that Ronald was able to resolve for us. He went out of his way and we REALLY appreciated his help. John and Kamaal in Hooked. That was probably the best specialty dinner we've ever had on a ship. Everyone agreed that if we had more days, we would have reserved it again. The pièce de résistance was, of course, Chef's Table. OMG!!! Edwin (waiter) and Chef Sudhanshu made our experience MAGICAL! Our family had such a royal experience there and one of the the best meals we've ever had (on or off of a ship)!
Ship Quality

I think the staff did the best they could in keep ing the shop clean. You couldn't go down any hallway or across any deck without seeing someone cleaning. There were A LOT of people on the ship so they had their work cut out for them but, in spite of that, I think they did a great job.
Cabin / Stateroom

The bed was amazing. Between the confort of the mattress and the rocking of the waves, I had the best sleep ever. I appreciated that my husband and I each had our own closets with lots of hangers. There was more than enough space for everything. And that shower!!! Aaaaahhhhh!
Ship tip
The ship is HUGE. If we were to sail Wonder again, we would stay on the Aft side rather than Forward. It seemed no matter where we needed to go, it was always on the OTHER side of where we were standing. But the venues and main dining rooms are aft. Also, bring a card carrier for your lanyard. They can no longer pop holes in cards because it would ruin the chip inside. I wish we had known that before we sailed; card carriers are $10 each onboard.
Even though it cost a pretty penny, we reserved a Cabana at Chill Island. It made for a WONDERFUL day. Sheryl was our Cabana waiter and she was fabulous. She made our day even more special. The only think we wished was that the day didn't end so early. We would have loved embarking at 5 or 6 rather than 3:30, especially because the next day was a sea day.
We got a Resort for a Day at Maho Beach. It definitely was NOT worth the money and I would neither recommend it or do it again. But we did get to see some of St. Maarten, including the planes flying close to Maho Beach and were able to spend the day in the beautiful turquoise water and at the resort pool. We also had a great "local" lunch at one of the resorts restaurants as well as unlimited drinks and everyone seemed to have a good time.
