First experience with RC. Will probably go back to Carnival. RC while the shows are spectacular, did not provide the value for the $$$$ compared to the large Carnival ships, with drinks and adults only locations.

Pools are overcrowded. Lack of an outdoor Adults only pool really hurts this experience. There is an indoor Adult pool.

Mixed. Our cabin steward was not attentive. Had to be reminded to give us clean towels. 1 day we got a towel animal.

Cabin / Stateroom

Typical balcony cabin. Did not like listening to the Aqua theatre show every night until 1130pm. No insulation in the walls. I could feel the bass in my pillow.
Ship tip
Get out to the pool deck before 10am. By 11am all chairs are taken on main pool deck.
Charlotte Amalie: next time take a cab, they have 10 person big truck cabs to take a group to places n back. Very safe here, its the USA.
We took the open side truck cab to Megans Beach. Its lusted as one of top 10 beaches in the World!! Just sit on sand in towel you bring from ship, or sit at a picnic table free. Or pay locals $10 for a lounge chair, it might be $20. But thats how the locals make their money. You can go in calm clear blue warm ocean and jump the small waves, or sit and take pix!
AND/OR Take a cab taxi w a group of others from ship to the town 10 min away. Its an amazing shopping adventure from souvenirs, local art, to Hi ticket jewelry! The historical buildings are reason enough to go to the town. You can get the cab/bus back to ship frequently. They tell you where to tand to get it.
Please don't waste your day on board shp again in Charlotte Amalie!!!
