Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Ate multiple places, all food good quality. Especially liked El Loco Fresh, Park Cafe and Sorrento’s for lunch. Not enough variety in my opinion at Windjammer, seemed like the same thing for breakfast/lunch every day. Ate at Chops one night, food was amazing, but not sure worth the extra $. Main dining room service was great, had the same table each night under My Time Dining and they took great care of us.

El Loco Fresh

5 out of 5

Chicken was very tasty! Liked being able to make own nachos or tacos. Quesadillas also very good.

Park Cafe

5 out of 5

Roast beef sandwiches, create you own salad were great. Perfect for lunch.

Johnny Rockets

5 out of 5

Ate breakfast here one day, good food and very fast service. Only downfall, wish they offered fresh fruit.

English Pub

5 out of 5

Great atmosphere, good live singer.

Chops Grille

4 out of 5

Food very good, portions large. Dessert size was overwhelming!

Cafe Promenade

4 out of 5

Coffee very good, set-up kind of a pain. 2 separate lines for coffee and food. But no one ever in the right line, which is frustrating.

Bionic Bar

5 out of 5

An experience you will not be able to enjoy on other ships, kids and adults love it!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
So much to do, there are things we never did. Usually hit the pools right after breakfast, always found a chair near the pool which was wonderful! Last 2 days as sea we went to the solarium plunge pool and we’re still able to find great chairs! Pools got very busy after noon, so we left by then. Plus it was so hot, we chose to do something inside. Putt-putt was ok- only 1 color ball available, which made it challenging. Never got to flow-rider or zip-line.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Live music every night was great! Multiple options based on type of music you wanted. Country at the Mason Jar was super fun. The band in the Music Hall varied their set list based on the theme of the night. Parade in the Promenade was fun to watch while at sea. Aqua show was amazing, tremendous athletes. Ice show was fun to watch. Voices artists were very talented. Other 2 shows-the drum/ventriloquist show and the drone show were not good.

Children's Programs

4 out of 5
2 teenagers with us, not a ton of organized activities for them, but enough to keep them engaged and busy.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone we encountered did a great job. Bartenders were personable, and knowledgeable. Room steward was efficient and timely, only cleaning room once per day was never an issue. And our servers got to know us well and anticipated our needs.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Very few issues and most were related more to increased guest use than lack of cleanliness. Easy to get around the ship and find all the venues.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Standard ocean view balcony cabin, convenient to be on 8 near Central Park. Plenty of room to unpack if you want. Suitcases slide under the bed. Bed very comfortable. Only issue was squeaky balcony door, so I could not sneak out in the morning to read.

Ship tip

Book shows, dinner reservations and excursions early as they do sell out.

Ports of call

Perfect Day At Coco Cay, Bahamas

5 out of 5
We love private islands. We had a beach bed at Breezy Bay, included the bed, 2 beach chairs, 2 floating mats and a cooler with bottles water. Servers came around frequently to offer drinks. Loved the Coco Loco. Unfortunately thunder and lightning shut down the water park on the kids and closed the beaches for a bit. But we spent the time eating ice cream and shopping at the market. Food was plentiful and many options available.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

3 out of 5
Docked at Crown Bay, very small port shopping area. But we were able to buy what we were looking for. No excursion this day.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
Booked Capt. Bob’s directly thru his website, speedboat tour around the island. It was one of the best excursions we have done. Walked to dock area from the pier, took about 10-15 minutes. 15-20 people per boat. Went around entire island, stopped at multiple places to snorkel, see sea turtles, have lunch, watch the planes land. Beer, rum & soda plentiful all day.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Slight bottleneck getting into the terminal building as everyone has to go through the customs facial recognition. But no other concerns.
