Review summary
The service throughout the entire ship was sensational. The food in the main dining, Solarium Bistro, El Loco, and Hooked Seafood was delicious. The food in Windjammer not very good. It was over cooked and/or dried out Though my kid ate alot of Sorrento Pizza there could be more toppings on the pizza If it’s a deluxe pizza the toppings should be all over the pizza not just a 3inch in diameter circle in the center of the pizza. People should know that they have to use the mug given for sodas and where those stations are at on the ship. As first time cruisers, a tour would have been great. We didn’t ask lots of questions in the beginning because we didn’t know what to ask questions about other than where stuff was on the ship. I think it would immensely beneficial if the cruise line knew whether their guests were first timers or not. As a business owner I am telling you more money would be spent by first timers and your cruise line if information was given that provided the answers to stirred up questions. It would be very beneficial for all parties if the cruise line reached out to the guests right when the tickets are purchased. It would also be beneficial if there were diamond member cruiser recommendations for “first time guests” tip sheet was sent to cruisers. Also the attire schedule before leaving home would be extremely helpful as we had no idea about how to pack. The room was beautiful. All RC workers were extremely helpful. Day of departure was chaotic for the gentleman working the departure line. The departure line is set on the busiest floor so more signs and announcements are needed to avoid people unnecessarily crowding that area that aren’t departing. Multiple people for some reason didn’t have sea pass so multiple notifications needed for that part too. Lastly no one under the age of 21 should be allowed on the adult side. My husband and I finally had a chance to go to that side as our son went off to Adventure Ocean with a friend and the whole darn place was filled with teenagers. I couldn’t even sit in the darn hot tub because there 5-6 teenagers sitting there taking selfies. You can’t advertise that to be adults side if you’re allowing children over there. 16 years old is a child. Maybe scheduling adult only events over there would be beneficial as well as putting an attendant over there to assist adults and manage if children need adults and respect adult independence and children independence or just to realize adults have to bring there kids. When they get a chance to get away it’s valuable time. All in all glamorous and very clean ship, beautiful people, impressive service, magnificent shows, and top notch experience. First time but not the last!Embarkation
