Review summary

I had not traveled on a Royal Caribbean sailing in years. I love the Neighborhood Balcony rooms. It gives you the opportunity to be entertained on your balcony and doesn't seem like an interior room at all. The food and service was very good. I would go back on a RCCL cruise again and can't wait to start planning my next cruise.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was well organized and lines moved quickly

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
There was always an excelent variety of food to choose from. Waitstaff in the buffet areas were very attentive.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There is always something going on, finding out about special events is easy in the onboard app or with the paper copy delivered to the room.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The Effectors II: Crash & Burn is a great theatrical performance based on a Group of Hero's, Tons of special effects, music, acrobatics, and full of entertainment. Great for Kids, both young and young at heart.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone on the ship was attentive and showed they wanted to be there. They were very friendly and welcoming.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ships overall design is light, bright and airy. She is a large ship so be prepared to walk. Everything was kept clean, if someone dropped something or spilled something it was addressed right away.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was comforable, size was as expected for a ship. outlets for mobile devices were convenitly located in the lap base next to the bed on each side of the bed. the cabin was light and bright, balcony was ocean view has 2 chairs with foot stools and table. not large enough for a lounge chair but quite comfortable.

Ship tip

If you want a balcony view but are concerned about child safety consider a Virtual Balcony cabin, it projects the view of the ship as if you were on a balcony but is on the wall, so no railings involved.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
I did not do an excursion at this port, however the terminal is very modern and easy to navigate. It allows embarkation and debarkation to flow smothly.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
Cococay was great, while the water park is an extra chage it has alot to keep those that go there entertained. The beach had ample chairs and umbrellas, I went to the Chill Beach area, they also have Cabana's for rent that are quite comfortable.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
The use of facial recognition makes desembarkation a breeze. If your luggage was carryon you can disembark early. Everything was well organized and moved quickly.
