Wind Spirit overview

The Wind Spirit is a sleek, 4-masted sailing ship that accommodates up to 148 guests. The vessel includes four decks, making it feel like your own private ship oasis. Wind Spirit features wide open, teak decks. Guests will find hidden nooks for private moments giving them a feeling of being on their own private veranda. Windstar voyages include all meals, non-alcoholic beverages, and a complimentary welcome cocktail.

All staterooms on Wind Spirit have ocean views, queen beds, flat-screen TV, and Bose SoundDock speakers for Apple iPods, L'Ocetaine toiletry products, daily fresh flowers. The Owner’s Suite includes a sitting area.

Wind Spirit offers two primary dining venues. All dining is open seating. Wind Spirit amenities include the WindSpa, a watersports Platform, lounge, library, pool, and hot tub.

Wind Spirit offers two primary dining venues. Amphora restaurant offers gourmet, course-by-course cuisine in the evenings and Veranda restaurant offers casual buffet and full-service dining for breakfast and lunch. All dining is open seating. And, for dining under the stars, make a reservation for Candles which features steaks and skewers.

THIS WAS OUR FIRST WINDSTAR CRUISE AND WE WILL RETURN TO TAKE A WINDSTAR CRUISE AGAIN. YOU WILL MEET LOTS OF DIFFERENT CRUISE PEOPLE. THE SHIP OFFICERS WERE VERY FRIENDLY. THEY ALL LINED UP AS WE LEFT THE SHIP TO THANK US. NEVER SEE THIS ON OTHER CRUIE LINES.

Best cruise we’ve ever taken. This is an exceptional way to experience the Society Islands in French Polynesia. The cruise atmospher is casual but classy. The service is first class. The excursions are amazing.

We were disappointed in the condition and cleanliness of the ship i.e. the top decking was work, warped and rusted. Carpets worn and tired, etc.. The ship had constant breakdowns, i.e. generators, engines, power, AC, marine deck, anchor, sails, etc.. . Should have been in dry dock 6 months ago.

Beware staterooms on deck 1 around 111 and 110. They are located near an AC system that makes an unbearable racket.
