Southern Caribbean - Westerdam

Sail Date: January 06, 2013

Room Type: Suite

The planned cruise was interrupted by conditions beyond the ability of the crew or officers to fix - the weather primarily. Seas were rough for most of the trip. The captain, Henk, was curteous in explaining much of the conditions that we faced and therefore eased the minds of many (but not their stomachs).

One off item is the thermal spa staff. None were unpleasant, especially when they wanted your money, but one knows when pleasantries are phoney.
Ship Quality
everything sparkled
Food and Dining
more than adequate but the Pinnacle was outstanding
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
The Vista Lounge entertainment was not up to par with other cruises taken.
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions

The specialty line on the Lido had the freshest foods for breakfast and lunch. The adult pool was the best.
