Please Note: Category VE staterooms on the Upper Promenade Deck have solid steel verandah railings instead of clear-view Plexiglas railings.

Smoking Policy: Smoking is not permitted in staterooms or on balconies.

We were very pleased with the accomadations, we have been on two other cruise lines and Holland America was by far the most comfortable. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. This is a big deal to us when we travel, I felt the other cruise lines offered cheap beds and pillows which did not provide a good night sleep. Thank you for the great beds!

Don't like HAL bathtubs. They are difficult for short, elderly people to navigate. Many shelves and racks were too high for me to use comfortably, but that's because of my height.

Don't bring a big suitcase as you won't find room for it. I had mine on the little couch and it was fine for just the two of us, but when our friends came to our room to visit it would definitely have been nice to have that space available.
