We enjoyed the short trip but it was definitely a come down from the Celebrity Beyond. Even knowing this before sailing, it is hard not to compare. The suite experience was a lovely treat for our anniversary but probably not something we would do every time.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We booked a suite for the first time and embarkation was a breeze. But I think the new terminal helps generally anyway.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The MDR food was better than expected and always arrived piping hot. We only had one breakfast at the buffet and it was only so so as well as being extremely busy.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
The entertainment was good but most of the activities are very family focused and this is not our thing so much any more.

Service and Staff

RCL crew are always friendly and happy to help. Our suite concierge was lovely and helped with any queries we had, as well as escorting us off the ship for our excursions.
Ship Quality

She’s showing her age in places, especially the cabins. But they do a great job of looking after her.
Cabin / Stateroom

This was a grand suite with separate living and dining area and larger balcony. The space was lovely but the design is very dated and not suited to modern tech heavy travel.
Ship tip
Don’t expect the bells and whistles of the newer ships but there’s still plenty to do.
Did a ship tour to Punta Sur Eco park. This was a great tour, other than we had to meet at 6.50am. We had our two hour beach time from 9-11 and were back at the ship for 12.30pm. All aboard was not until 4.15. This may suit those who prefer to shop or come back for something to eat, but I would have preferred longer at the beach, even though the windy conditions of the previous few days had brought in some seaweed.
Did a tour to the Mayan Ruins with Native Choice. Excellent guide but be aware that it can be very hot and humid and there is a fair amount of walking. We found it quite exhausting in the heat.
