Review summary

This was our honeymoon cruise and would happily sail with Royal again. This was my first cruise but my husbands second and we both thoroughly enjoyed everything from ship activities, casinos, and shows to the lovely Cozumel destination. We will definitely be cruising again.

The city duo singers were an absolute joy to listen to. They both are incredibly talented and have beautiful voices.

All of the staff were incredibly nice and hard workers. There are a couple that deserve special recognition for the outstanding experience they helped foster on the cruise. Julius who was at the bar on the fourth floor deserves a raise. Not only does he make the best drinks on the ship but he also goes above and beyond by creating designs on the drinks and always making sure my husband and I liked our drinks and were enjoying ourselves. He dealt with difficult customers who should have just bought the drink package with a smile and the customer is always right mentality even though those ship members were in the wrong. I would also like to give a shout-out to Dave in the casino for not only helping us out and going to other bars to get our drinks when the casino bar ran out but day after day he remembered our names and orders without even asking.

The cabin felt very spacious. We loved our balcony and the cabin was always clean and stocked with everything we needed. A slightly bigger shower with a facet that didn’t feel like a water hose would be helpful but there’s always give and take. We absolutely loved our experience.
