Review summary

We enjoyed this cruise and loved the itinerary so much that we’re doing it again in early 2024. The only slight negative was continuous trouble with the internet connection while onboard.

I love the RC terminal at Galveston. It was as easy as walking in, showing my docs and walking right onto the ship.

Ate at all the specialty restaurants and had a wonderful experience. Crew at bars and beverage stations were so attentive and friendly.

The onboard musicians were outstanding and provided such a variety of good music.

All crew members were friendly and pleasant. Colleen served us in Chops and it was great seeing her from a previous cruise on Radiance of the Seas.

Ship Quality

Layout and design were fine and similar to other same-class RC ships. While the ship was clean, it could use a new paint job…particularly the railings on the back.

Cabin / Stateroom

The junior suite was the perfect size for us having the couch and two chairs. This cabin is located in the very back of the ship and had a nice size balcony.

Ship tip

Cabins facing the back of the ship have a slightly obstructed view because of the ship design. It wasn’t bad but I hadn’t seen that design on other ships.

Cozumel, Mexico

We love Cozumel and picked this itinerary because the ship spent two days here. This is a safe port where you can explore on your own. Check out some of the local restaurants!

Super easy although I’d prefer to wait in my cabin than the dining room or theater.
