I am not sure if it was because this was the first cruise of the season in Sydney but everything was a bit messy and unorganized. The ship has the day program on the app and on the boletim (that they print and leave in your cabin at night) however the times for the activities didn’t match ( a lot of times) ... was annoying to be waiting for a Harry Potter trivia (as the app was indicating) and find out that we sat there to see something completely different... just to realize that the trivia was going to happen two hours after (as per the printed version)...

The crew as always deserve a shout out for their amazing and unstoppable work... the highlights to me were Raquel (from the main restaurant door) , Yoyok, Ashish and Peter (main dinning room ) and Patricia ( from the Next cruise)

Ship Quality

RCI is selling the Voyager as an amplified Ship... I was expecting the same changes that they did to the navigator of the seas... How disappointed I was when I realized that they just added a small set the water slides to the back of the ship... no pool upgrades and some of my favorites restaurants as Johnny Rockets (that they keep advertising) are not even on the ship anymore . The ship was clean (like you would expect from RCI) but the suites are starting to show their age.

Ship tip

Don’t expect to be going to an Amplified Ship, (specially if you have seen all the changes that were done to the navigator of the seas) you going to be extremely disappointed, as I was...

Hey guys don’t get me wrong, I really like the voyager class (actually the voyager of the seas was my first cruise ship ever) ... maybe because that I was so disappointed, not particularly with the ship but with RCI that has been advertising it as an amplified ship. I was expecting the same changes they have done with the Navigator of the seas (another voyager class ship) and it looks amazing ... while they seemed to have run out of time and didn’t do or complete most the refurbishment on the voyager of the seas... and that was frustrating...

Sorry for your disappointment

We always follow the cruise compasses not the app. The compass is always correct.

I think being a Voyager class ship and with the ship being 20 years old RCI are not going to invest too much of their money.
