Review summary

This was our fourth cruise with Royal Carribbean, but our first cruise on the Voyager. It was absolutely our best cruise ever! The crew was always professional, yet friendly on an individual basis. The crews director was fantastic and the activities were supurb. Our stateroom was always spotless and the public areas were always clean and well maintained. We have never cruised with any other cruise line other than Royal Carribbean. Why would you change when your experience is always first class? We always get very sad on our last night of the cruise, knowing that we have to go home and return to "reality;" however, we look forward to the many cruises we have planned for the future. There is only one recomendation that I would make to Royal Carribbean. The elevators are almost always very crowded and it is sometimes next to impossible to get a handicapped person on the elevator. We traveled with my father, who is in a wheelchair, and by the time the elevator reached our floor, it was already completely full. There were many times when we had to wait for several elevators before we found one that had enough room, or there were people willing to make room for us. Most of the time, we were totally at the mercy of other passengers to get off and give us their space. You would be surprised how many people were unwilling to do that. My recommendation would be that you designate one handicapped elevator at each end of the ship. It could certainly be used for other guests; however, there would be an understanding that if a handicapped person was waiting to use the elevator, than able bodied guests would either make room or exit the elevator in order to allow the handicapped person to enter. I realize that you can not control the behavior of other people, but I also believe that most people are willing to obey rules, when posted. I think this kind of a change would at least give a handicapped person an opportunity to use the elevator without having to wait for long periods of time.

Ports of call

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

5 out of 5
This port had the longest dock I've ever seen in my life. It was a little inconvenient to use shuttle buses, but the beauty of the island, while driving in was unlike and other port we had visited.
Don't Miss: the bay wall and beach

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We have been to Cozumel three times, but have always enjoyed this port.
Don't Miss: The shopping

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
The island and beaches were beautiful. I feel it will be an excellent port when the construction of the dock shopping is complete.
Don't Miss: The snorkeling and scuba diving

Pros: Professional and friendly staff

Cons: Over crowded elevators
