Review summary
Overall the ship is beautifully decorated, (Xmas) & neat and clean, cabin very comfortable & veranda was good size. Altough as we said it was smaller it was well staffed in all catagories & well maintained. Our travel expert @ , a young man named Chip was very helpful & obliging & very pleasant in all manner of contact with him. I would , because of him return to .Pros: We seem to prefer the smaller ships, by that we mean of the size of Volendam with 1400 someodd passengers against some ships we've been on with over 3400 (900 kids @ Xmas) , with 1400 everything was convienient and close by and very little crowds. after 15 cruise's we dont really go for the flashy m
Cons: The selection of food at dinner was less then we had anticipated , while we were looking for less beef and more seafood in the grouper,haddock,cod and halibut class tey offered a lot of salmon which we and others at table didn't want. Crab legs & lobster tail offered one evening each. I had beef 8 o
