Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Disappointed in food menu in the Windjammer. Main dining room menu selection was just ok.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The pools and hot tubs were excellent.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Stage shows were very good. Caribbean bands were lacking poolside. Music played was pre recorded.

Children's Programs

I traveled solo as an older adult.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All staff on this cruise provided excellent, and quality service in every way. My needs were full filled in Main Dining by waiters who were very accommodating. Stateroom attendant was courteous, and helpful. Even one particular young lady at the specialty coffee area on the 6th floor was very friendly and always remembered my order.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was very clean and I easily learned the layout within a few days.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was very cozy and kept clean by my room attendant.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland Did not visit port

I stayed with family in Maryland 90 minutes away before embarking since I traveled from NY.

Frederiksted, St. Croix, U.S.V.I.

5 out of 5
I love St. Croix but I’m biased since I lived there in the 1970’s with my parents. My primary reason for visiting St Croix was to visit my mom’s gravesite which I accomplished. I also went to Christiansted, walked around and shopped at several quaint shops including IB’s design and Mitchell Larson Studios. I did not do any excursions.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

5 out of 5
I visited St Maarten many times before on cruises and just window shopped in the area nearby.

St. John's, Antigua

5 out of 5
I participated in a beach excursion. Although the water was a little rough the beach was quiet with no one trying to sell you anything. I cannot recall the name of the beach.

Bridgetown, Barbados

5 out of 5
Beach excursion. Very crowded beach but all the amenities were included.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

5 out of 5
I did not do an excursion. I was given an individual tour of this beautiful island by a Taxi driver recommended by a good friend so I felt safe. He then took me to Carambola Beach Club which is located on the Caribbean side vs Atlantic Sea side. The waters were calm, and warm. Not too many people there. The food Lobster tail, rice & peas with a salad was DELICIOUS! Staff was courteous. St. Kitts was my favorite stop on this cruise and I would like to visit again. Very beautiful island.

Disembarkation

Not bad at all. I was in group 21 and by 9:30AM I was off the ship.
