Review summary

Could have been better - have been on 14 cruises & this one was not at the top. Reasons provided above.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Great experience - able to get onboard expediently & dine in Windjammer immediately.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Very good except we did not appreciate the constant effort to hustle us to spend more money: drink package offered while we were dining as well as opportunity to tour galley for a fee. Very annoying

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Pool/hot tubs were great. Gym a little small. We very much enjoyed the ability to attend Catholic Mass each morning & Sundays - hope that opportunity continues on all future cruises.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Can't recall the Pianist's name but he was fantastic & a great speaker! Saw 2 of his show plus one with the violinist.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service from waiters in the Windjammer was outstanding. Very good in the dining room. Room steward (Fatima) was personable, hardworking & efficient in getting our room prepared twice a day while we were away.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Common areas were well maintained. Ship needed exterior paint - first time we did not take a picture standing in front of the ship at any of the ports.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
I did not know my room would be under the swimming pool deck - we heard carts being rolled around beginning at 4:00 am as well as a chairs being dragged across the floor & a metal door slamming back & forth at 2:00 am one morning. Really annoying room. Common areas were kept clean. The sink was so small that water would splash out it onto the floor/counter causing us to run the water very slowly which resulted in longer times for sink use.

Ship tip

Difficulty in understanding some of the announcements due to accent of announcer or place you are when announcements are made. Announcements should be displayed on in room TVs

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
We were stuck on board for an extra 2.5 hours due to only 2 customs officials being available to handle the people disembarking at that time - Sunday morning.
