Review summary

First cruise for our 18 and 20 year old daughters, they loved it and now have a taste of cruising.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Got there fairly early and not much line or waiting :)

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Main dining room was excellent, Windjammer and Solarium were also very good.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Loved the adult only solarium

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Both comedians were fantastic. And the 70s Disco night was enjoyed by all our group from 18 year olds to 53 year olds

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward Omar was the best. Our wait staff at table 198 was also excellent.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The first day level two by the elevators smelled like sewer. After the first day it seemed much better.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Clean in good working order, well maintained by our porter

Ship tip

Great four day cruise. For a longer cruise I would take a ship with a few more outdoor daytime water space like a water slide, bigger pool, wave maker. We didn't have small children so we were great with the space that was available

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

Stayed at a hotel the night before.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Plenty of things to do without using the shore excursions available with royal carribbean

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Well organized. I was sick (ended up having gall bladder surgery upon arriving home) so we self disembarked and it went very quickly - I was so grateful
