Shortest cruise we have ever been on, but it wasn't bad. In retrospect, prefer at least a 7 day cruise. Enjoyed it all but we like sea days and there were only 2.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Easiest ever so far....no congestion, no problems, no slowdowns
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
RCCL's drink policy made it uneccesary to worry about anything on drinks. We bought the ultimate package and had all the drinks and coffees we could want, along with wines anywhere. Restaurants were great, as always. No need to go anywhere but the main dining room in all honesty.
Viking Crown Lounge
5 out of 5
Jimmy was the best bartender ever! Never disappointed with the atmosphere here...
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We enjoyed the trivia contests in the Schooner Bar a lot...
Gift Shop
5 out of 5
Always a great bargain, we bought a watch for myself and many of the "bargain items" for my wife.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
As a retired professional entertainer, I particularly appreciated the talent level onboard. It was clearly above the Carnival or even Norwegian levels.
Children's Programs
No kids on this trip
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Cabin stewards, bartender staff, waiters, everyone was above and beyond what I expected. Even as a veteran cruiser.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Everything was well-maintained. This is an old ship. But still seaworthy and ship shape.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Smallest cabin we've ever been in. Too small, actually, unless you separate the room into two twin beds vs. a Queen.
Ship tip
Know your layout and don't be too proud to use the visual aids. Unless you need the exercise...:)
No excursions here. We went into town and ate lunch on the beach. Excellent service, had a great time, but the town itself left a bit lacking. Would probably be okay for an all-inclusive week's stay and excursions to the ruins. Too short a stay to really enjoy the excursions.
