Review summary
I've only had one other cruise to compare this to and I'll chose Disney from now on. The shows were okay on the Vision of the seas. Me and my wife enjoyed the comedy shows. But the selection after that was pretty non existent. We weren't informed of the white party prior to the cruise. There were drink packages you had to pay for. WiFi was even being sold. We felt all the"extra"little charges were just unnecessary. It should be included in the cost of the cruise so we can just focus on the cruise and spend money when we reach our destination. The crew was wonderful but that didn't make up for the hidden costs. We even tried to go karaoke the first time and went to the wrong venue which was about 30 feet away from where we ended up and the "piano man" even after we asked him if this is where we can do karaoke, he didn't direct us to the correct venue. I'm guessing because he wanted an audience for his horrible singing. The "prize" for completing the officer scavenger hunt was just another way to get people to one of restaurants that toy had to pay to dine in. I'm sure anyone who completed the hunt were "winners". Which is probably why we heard no announcements of any winners. Then again if there were an announcement, we wouldn't have been able to hear it from room 3157 unless we open the door! The pillows were too soft. The beds weren't comfortable. The service personnel in the corridors of our cabins didn't speak unless they were spoken to or unless they were around their superiors. Alex or room cleaner for room 3157 was great. It was the rest of the cleaning personnel in that hallway that was not attentive to great customer service as far as greating was concerned. We will never recommend nor cruse with this line again. Congratulations to Super Mario. Doreen the bartender on deck nine,by the main pool area was not only a great drink maker but also great at personal relations. Steve was a great cruise director. We regret not getting the Sheridan because we'd at least have something tangible other than the thriller dance that we could be happy about choosing this line.Ship experiences
