Review summary

It was very pleasant to be pampered. It was a great way to be with a diverse group of couples and adult children. There were activities and places for all of us.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The range of food was excellent. However, the quality of food for the dinners was only average. Lunches in the dining room were much better. Dining times were not convenient. Seatings were 6 or 8:45, neither of which suited us well. Our waiter was SUPERB. He was attentive and entertaining.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
None of the show options were appealing at all. Fortunately we were traveling as a group and entertained our selves. The card room lacked even an English Scrabble board and the Spanish one was incomplete.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Very friendly.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
It was clean and accessible. When the weather was cold and raining indoor spaces were a little crowded.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Despite 4 of us in one stateroom, there was enough storage and movement space. That was a delightful surprise.

Ports of call

Copenhagen, Denmark

3 out of 5
Somewhat disappointing. It was a large city and not as clean or as easily walkable as we expected.

Riga, Latvia

3 out of 5
It was a pleasant little city but not one I would choose to visit or visit again.
Don't Miss: Tower that includes the military museum.

Helsinki, Finland

3 out of 5
It was raining which I am sure diminished the pleasure.
Don't Miss: The Rock Church

St. Petersburg, Russian Federation

5 out of 5
Despite a long day, tour by Denrus, it was spectacular. It warranted a 2 day stay in port. The tour was excellent but it would have been nice to be able to wander independently a little.
Don't Miss: The Hermitage with a good guide since the size of the collection is overwhelming.

Pros: Being pampered

Cons: Hidden costs
