We had a very relaxing cruise, ate well and enjoyed seeing new places. Unfortunately we had two days/nights of pretty rough seas and could not stop in Portsmouth on our last day. Everything was done well and I would do this cruise again.

There was something for everyone to do while on board, even if all one wanted to do was find a nice spot to read a book.

We don't stay up late so going to see a show wasn't something we wanted to do.

We appreciated our room steward Eldose and our favorite waiter was Martin, but all staff were great.

We had a PS1, Penthouse Suite. Plenty of room to move about, plenty of storage, large bathroom area compared to other suites. Only 20 cabins on this level meant there were very few people walking about.
Ship tip
Get your favorite beverage and bring it on board. Beats the cost of the beverage package and Viking allows it.
We went through the strait at night and did manage to see the rock as we went by, but in the dark there isn't the wow factor. Thankfully I was able to visit Gibraltar in daylight a few years ago.
Fast and easy disembarkation. We did the Viking post extension in London. They took all our luggage to the hotel so all we had to do was customs at the port before getting on the bus.
