We had no water level issues and all excursions occurred. The cruise director was excellent and entertaining.

We found the food to be very good especially the soups. Only complaint was no chocolate chip cookies.

We used the walking track and putting green on the days the upper deck was open.

The pianist was very good and played a good variety of music. The cruise director put on a couple Cabaret shows. He was a trained singer and was excellent. He also did very entertaining port talks.
Service and Staff

Room steward cleaned our room twice a day and was very friendly. He always timed the cleanings for when we were out dining. Most of the waiters were very happy to serve us and looked like the enjoyed their jobs. The captain gave me a tour of the wheelhouse and invited me to come back and ask any questions I might have.

The ship was well maintained. Viking ships have a clean design which we really like.
Cabin / Stateroom

Suite was quite spacey for a river boat. Liked the door could be closed between the bedroom and sitting room. The shower was perfect size. Room was always clean. Mini-bar was kept stocked at all times.
The tour guide, May, was the best guide we have ever had. She was very bubbly and told great stories and jokes which made the tour more entertaining. Found out she is almost totally deaf and was sent to Japan to learn how to speak better. She is fluent in German and Japanese including sign languages for both. She had just started learning English a year ago but her English was the best of any of the German tour guides. She was just amazing.
