This was our first Viking cruise and our first river cruise, so we were learning along the way! We were not disappointed by the ship, the staff, the food, or the itinerary. I could write so much more about each of our stops and adventures along the way, but I do not have the time to do so. Andrea, our Viking liaison was excellent to work with as we planned our trip. The Bus bonus onboard credits covered the cost of staff gratuities and some incidentals.

This is our first river cruise and our last. We were bored! We thought the ship was going to be docked close to the cities and we were going to be able to go on our own in and out the ship to visit and that didn't happen. We had no freedom to go in an out. Everything is programmed. You eat breakfast at certain time, go on an excursion, come back to eat practically the same lunch every day, go out on another excursion (if you booked another one) and come back for dinner and most times to go back to bed. There is no place to go but the Lounge where the bar is. We were bored! No place to exercise either.
