Review summary

River cruising is totally different than ocean cruising. We are going back in 2019!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
embarking on a river cruise is so different than embarking on a large Ocean Cruise. You walk on and go right to your room

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food is excellent! The cruise line always provided Regional items but for those that are not venturous always provided basic Staples such as steak and chicken.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
this is a river cruise - we do not have activities. If you are expecting activities, do not take a river cruise

Entertainment

This is a river cruise, entertainment is minimal.

Children's Programs

Children are banned from River Cruises :-)

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
staff are amazing.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

The room was amazing! A little scary going through the locks because it can get quite dark.

Ship tip

Do not try to compare a river cruise with an ocean cruise. Totally different everything!
