We decided to celebrate our Anniversary on our Viking Cruise and had a wonderful experience. We look forward to our next cruise with the help of Scott Miller who made the whole purchase process simple.

The cruise was wonderful. This was truely an Antiquity trip.

The post cruise 3 day extension in Cappadocia, Turkey was a fairytale experience in a cave hotel. Unfortunately it was too windy for balloon rides. The ship itself had the best food and service I ever experienced. The guides selected maximized our enjoyment and education on tour.

This cruise, while we had high expectations given the ports, was not up to our expectations. Given it's a new ship, the wait staff was not up to the par we had experienced previously. Also, spending the evening of the 31st, and the full day of the 1st was very poor. Most of the time we sat in the sea, barely moving, while had the ship traveled st normal speed we would have been able to have a second full day in Barcelona. This in particular was a very poor decision on the part of the cruise planners, and obviously done for reasons other than the distance between ports, which was not conveyed to the passengers.

It was a nice cruise to a number of interesting ports. The Viking Saturn is a very comfortable ship with an extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Nice new ship is everything was in good working order. We don't cruise for the food and this didn't change our minds. We eat at local restaurants whenever possible. The crew were incredibly friendly and helpful. The change in our ports of call due to the current issues in Israel were completely necessary but too much time in Malta. Mykonos was a virtual ghost town. Not really worth the stop.

We booked an extension which included Parma and Bologna. Both Cities were fascinating and our Tour guide was excellent. However we had about a 5 hour bus ride to Parma on the first day which took us back up North close to where we were the day before and at the end we had a 1 hr. 15 minute bus ride to the airport at 4:00AM in the morning. Also in my opinion this extension is backwards. It should be Bologna first and then Parma which would eliminate several long waisted bus rides back and forth. Would not recommend.

Although a wonderful cruise with everything included. I wish there had been more choices of restaurants, I was not impressed with the chef’s table. Steaks on the ship were not tasty.

Viking is the way to go. Excellent accommodations. Food is top notch. Staff is very professional.

Overall a very good experience. We travel with another couple and always book based on destinations. Except for the brevity of our visit to Venice, all other ports of call were good. Viking offers included excursions which I would rate a 4 out of 10. We always found food we could enjoy in the World Cafe, but in general, I would rate the food a 5 out of 10, but we don't cruise Primarily to dine. Staff is top notch. the Saturn in a beautiful ship.
