Review summary

Cabins were small because indoor space was taken up with outdoor deck which we barely used. French balconies are all you need on a river cruise. Food was good, service slow in the dining room. We had an over zealous waiter which was annoying.

It is impossible beforehand, to get the exact hours you are in a port on a river cruise. On a ocean cruise you can tell before you go the exact hours you are in a port. As with all river cruises the itinerary is tight, not enough free time, and too much bus time.

Bed and pillows were comfortable. Cabin was very clean and tidied up several times throughout the day. Very happy with our cabin steward!

Ship tip

Be prepared for early morning excursions, not much free time when in a city.

Completely agree, French balcony is the way to go! Thanks for the review! Where will you be going on your next river cruise?

Interesting about not knowing arrival times for ports. Never knew that about River Cruises. Thanks for the knowledge.
