Review summary

This was an outstanding trip. I believe this is the way to see the most of Egypt in a short amount of time. You will absolutely be tired on this trip but the intent is not relaxation. The staff at Viking are consistently second to none and always make you feel at home. Viking Osiris was the cleanest and most updated ship that I’ve been on I really like the newer design.

Everyone was so incredible with service and care. I personally was just not a big fan of Egyptian food so it was for sure me not them. There were some other options. Every other Viking cruise it took I gave food a 5

Onboard Activities

Vikings activities are geared more towards education and culture. This is what we love about them probably most.

Entertainment

Onboard Entertainment is not the primary focus of Viking although they do have culturally relevant entertainment which was great but that’s not really why I love Viking.

Service and Staff

Such great service from everyone. Our wait staff was second to none. Darina and Petra were truly 2 of the sweetest people ever and took such good care of us. The bar staff were all so kind. Our room was always made up so perfectly. You were always greeted with a smile.

Ship Quality

The second someone was a slob there was always someone right behind to clean up the mess. The ship was new and impeccably clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had the lowest cabin grade and it was plenty big for us. I couldn’t have asked for a better layout and I had plenty of room.

Ship tip

This trip is a bit different than other Viking cruises we have been on. If you are in poor health, struggle to walk at all or sensitive to heat then this may not be the trip for you. Viking will accommodate you, but you may not feel really pleasant
