Review summary

It was a trip of a lifetime and highly recommend the Viking Modi. The cruise director Elena was marvelous and did a great job keeping us entertained.

Main dining room was great. Basically had the same table for 12 since the first day.

Not much going on after dinner. Dancing or listening to someone spinning records, A glass blower and a piano player. But all in all it was a great relaxing night.

lots of storage. Better than most cruise ships we have been on.

Have fun, talk to and interact with the other passengers, please leave extra tips for these had working people.

Loved the Viking pre-extension stay at the Budapest Hilton. The staff was marvelous and the two excursions were wonderful. Highly recommend going to Holloko in Hungary through the pre extension. Marvelous 14th century village.

It was raining but we stood up on the top deck under the awnings and took wonderful pictures. Do NOT recommend Marksburg Castle tour if you have the slightest walking issue or had back or knee replacement. Very uneven grounds

The Cathedral is beautiful. See the town Hall and the statue of the only clergy statue at the back of the Town Hall.

Went home as we spent a week here previously. Highly recommend a boat ride through the canals and and to make reservations in advance for the Anne Frank House Museum.

Disembarkation

Took the Viking passage and it was great. Our flight was not until 3:00. They allowed us to stay on the ship until 11:30 when they drove us to the airport and took us to the airline checkin.
