This was our first river cruise and has a marvelous time. Also, we are very interested in the small ship experience and will be considering Viking in the future.

Food was exceptional for the whole trip. The drink package was well worth the price.

Not too many on-board activities beyond a piano player performing nightly. There were only 2 nights with special event: waltz lessons and music trivia and three daytime activities: coffee demonstration, strudel making demonstration, and glass blowing demonstration.

The second room of the suite was well worth the expense for a 2 week trip.
Ship tip
Bring medicine for common cold with you. Most of the passengers ended up sick at one point. Pharmacies in Europe don't have the same OTC medicines that we are used to.
Did the inclusive tour of the city along with the Top of Cologne and Beer Dinner tours. We also hit the Chocolate Museum. Top of Cologne was special and the beer dinner was great fun.
