Day's go by very quickly, no at sea days but this is one of the best value cruises I have been on.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
No issues, easy to find Viking personnel at Istanbul airport.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Food was generally good in Restaurant, a night or two, nothing appealed to us so off to the World Cafe. Manfredi's and The Chef's Table were very good. Service in all restaurants was on par with what you would expect from Viking.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Spa area was busy in late afternoon as ship was leaving each portr.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The band and singer/dancers were great. They did bring in a local band from Athens which was very entertaining.
Children's Programs
Viking - no kids
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Great stewards as usual, wait staff seems to be improving from post-Covid downturn.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Excellent condition
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
270 sq ft, very clean and well laid out.
Ship tip
Check the Chef's Table menu, it changes every three days.
Walked along Cannakale waterfront by Trojan horse. There is a public restroom south of the horse but most shopkeepers will let you use their's for 10 Turkish lira (35 cents) or possibly even free. Troy site was very busy.
