Review summary

This was supposed to be our first Viking River cruise in 2019 but got cancelled due to COVID. We're very happy to finally do this trip. It did not disappoint. The Lipizzaner Stable tour in Vienna was fantastic.

We have just completed our fourth river cruise on Viking. We have never encountered a crewmember who looked as if they didn't want to be there. These folks sure know how to please the customer.

Because we try to take two or three cruises in a years time, I always book the basic cabin. I only need a place to sleep and shower and the four river boats we've been on suit my needs. There's more than enough storage space and a very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom facility.

Ship tip

Sit back, get yourself a cappuccino and chocolate cookie at the snack station enjoy the view.
