This was our first trip to Europe and we wanted to do something special and Viking was the perfect way to accomplish this. The experienced staff, excursions that where 1st class all the way along with the food, shopping and local culture was an experience we could not had done on our own.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food, service, experience was much more than dining but a cultural delight.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Didn't come for the onboard activities but the staff in the lounge and the fun events they had was enjoyable

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
From our pre cruise experience to the time we went through security on the trip home the staff was 5 star!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Sleek and spacious with just the right amount of space to socialize or hide away. Captain keeps a tight ship and takes pride in the newest ship in the fleet!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Perfect location, plenty of room and the veranda was just right

Ship tip

Enjoy every little space, explore and ask for tour from any of the staff to become familiar with the many amenities.

Ports of call

Budapest, Hungary

5 out of 5
Pre cruise tine and 2 excursions along with 20 miles we walked on our own, beautiful and memorable experience.

Vienna, Austria

5 out of 5
What history, had a Viennies coffe where Sigmund Freud enjoyed his morning paper! Easy city to explore and the market was a must

Krems, Austria

5 out of 5
Most of the time was spent at the incredible working Gottweig Abby but don't hesitate to spend the extra hour in the little shops across the raod, you wont be disappointed!

Passau, Germany

5 out of 5
Quaint little village, we took a tour to Salzburg from Passau and met the ship later so we didn't get to explore

Regensburg, Germany

5 out of 5
If i could give Regensberg 10 stars i would, our favorite Port. Rich history, great bier and sausage and the shopping was the best!

Main/Danube Canal Transit Did not visit port

We took the optional excursion to the Fabre-Castel Pencil Factory which was awesome!

Nuremberg, Germany

4 out of 5
Was a nice visit to Nuremberg which is steeped in Medival history and WWII atrosoties of the Nazi's but lacked the charm of the other villages along the Danube because of the industrial side.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth all the way to the airport security!
