Review summary

Great river boat. Food very good. Great service and beautiful vistas. Beautiful part of the world. I loved the cruise extension in Prague. Went on the panoramic Prague tour-best guide the whole week. She gave us an in depth description of Prague through the ages till today while walking the city and what life was like before their independence. She was just knowledgeable about everything we asked.

Comfortable. More than enough storage place. Liked the bedside lamps and easy switches. Clean

Ship tip

Be aware the internet is spotty. Never worked in our cabin.

Busy day. There is a lot to see. Did 3 excursions. All worthwhile. Concert in the evening was fabulous.

Loved the bike ride. Went to Durnstein, quaint town. Beautiful countryside. Really enjoyed sitting on the top deck as the boat cruised along the river, watching the country side and valleys. Just gorgeous!

Passau, Germany

Tour was good. Went to the organ concert. Church was beautiful but the concert was monotonous. Same kind of unexciting music the entire time.

Regensburg, Germany

We signed up for an extended tour and our guide was most disappointing. He tried to crack jokes but they were stupid and not funny and he did not deliver on the extended part of the tour. It was almost as if he was embarrassed to discuss anything Jewish , so he pointed to one item and moved onto the next topic. when we compared notes with the other group, we were even more irritated. Some people went back in the afternoon to visit sites he was meant to take us on, but I had a different excursion.

Main/Danube Canal Transit

It was raining but our guide took us to the world War II sights. Informative interesting guide. Very worthwhile.
