Was my first time trying virgin and really can't wait to go back. Truly a beautiful ship and wonderful staff. Very very different from all other cruise lines, in a good way in my opinion. The onboard offer to cruise again is amazing, no pressure by the staff to do it, but if you think you will say all Virgin again in the next couple of years, seems worth doing. They ask for a $300 deposit that goes towards your next cruise and then you get $300 off your next cruise, plus $600 on board credit. Best deal at sea in my opinion. I encourage all adults, regardless of age to check out Virgin Voyages.

Tried all the restaurants (since everything is included). Now I know why people say it is the best food at sea! Between the variety, flavor, and presentation; absolute perfection. The food is very adult and felt on the healthier side in comparison to other cruise lines. Besides french fries, there literally was minimal fried foods available which was refreshing.
Onboard Activities

Plenty of seating on the outdoor decks, nothing ever felt crowded. Fitness center was great as well. Spin bikes and shoes felt brand new. No announcements about activities so be sure to look on the app for what's happening around the ship.

Shows were good but everything started kinda late. I'm not a night person so I didn't make a lot of the shows/parties because of the time.

The most beautiful ship. Same builders as NCL Prima which is another ship I love. Even though some find it boxy and having dead ends, I would disagree because for some reason, I just love it. The decor, cleanliness, and multiple common areas are all a win for me.
Cabin / Stateroom

Stayed in an XL Sea Terrace room. Although it is allegedly a hair bigger than the standard balcony rooms, the bathroom layout is frankly bizarre. There is basically no door to the bathroom. An open concept is fine and all, but not for a bathroom.
Ship tip
Book dinner reservations as soon as they open on the app! Waiting to do it on board will be very limited options. Remember that all restaurants are included so everyone has the same access so booking as soon as possible is a good idea to be able to fully experience all of the wonderful food on board.
I personally love all the ports in Mexico. The port area in Costa Maya has so many wonderful shops and activities. There really is no reason to leave the port at all. Everything is clean, all of the people are wonderful.
