The ship is beautiful and a step above Carnival. However felt like this ship was all about getting more money after you pay 3000 - 5000 to travel on the ship. There should be more items included for your money!
Embarkation

Great! Swift and efficient…
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
I would give them a 5 star but there are to many places to eat that your are required to pay extra. The hot dog place closes too early. I feel if you pay so much more to cruise on Royal there should be less places that charge 65.00 per person to dine!
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
The ice skating show and aqua show were awesome! A must see
Entertainment
2 out of 5
The DJs suck! They do not play music to make u want to stay on dance floor and the sailaway party is not interactive at all. I was also curious as why the cruise director was not out socializing with passengers
Children's Programs
I didn’t not travel with small children
Service and Staff

Slept well, even pull out bed was comfortable per my son, just annoyed at when it was pulled out we could not put it back and it blocked the balcony
Ship tip
Make sure you are prepared to spend money, everything cost money on this ship
I was appalled that everything cost money on this island, a mat, the waterpark 114.00 per person you cannot rent jet ski unless u pay onboard or do any other excursions.
They do not have the meal locations open long enough and the one location that said they were open until 8:30 closed at 8 along with everything else. I have never arrived and started disembarking at 6:45 am I felt like that was ridiculous
Appreciate the review. There is a lot on Cocoa Cay that is included, but I agree, a lot of extra fee adventures as well. I’m curious about venues closing early. I haven’t encountered that on my previous sailings. Sorry you had some negatives.
