Wow….was so excited to have a sports bar for a dining option after a day off ship. I found the food to be far less than optimal. I ordered the “Jerk” chicken wings. For anywho knows Caribbean flavors, jerk chicken is a dry rub, not a sauce. The wings arrived almost floating in a tar like substance. Honestly inedible. We tried a few and just set them aside. Also, the venue is not air conditioned. Bad choice.

We had a Junior suite. Very nice but it’s odd how they use the extra space, they don’t. It’s just extra carpeted space and an extra chair. Having the closet is nice. The Tub is very narrow (I’m slender, so not heavy or obese) and I found it odd to use.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Port Canaveral garage is so poorly run on disembarkation day. To leave the garage you have to scan the receipt you got upon entry. Car, by car, by car. Keep in mind you paid upon entry, so why such strict controls to exit? 800++ cars are trying to exit, 50% can’t read a sign and sit there thinking the gate will go up automatically. Major, major cluster. Zero staff to be found. One hour to exit at 7:45am, so still early for disembarkation. RCI needs to pressure Port management to fix this. I cruise this port often, this happens every cruise.

Nassau, Bahamas

We stay on the ship. Nassau is nothing to trek through. The excursions are few and mostly lame.
