This was a great tour and we were blessed by the timing as the weather was as perfect as it could be for being in Alaska. Our trip started with the land tour that was connected to our Princess cruise. This tour was guided by a guide and made the trip very enjoyable and relaxing, since everything was very well planned. The Connoisseur - Deluxe escorted tour was well worth it, since dinner meals and breakfast at the lodges were also included in this price. We still picked a couple of our own excursions that filled up our days. Princess handled all of our luggage from location to location, this was wonderful. Would recommend packing all cruise clothes in a separate suit case as not to touch until you are on the ship. We had times of a little rain or mist in the air, yet Never really needed our rain gear while we were in Alaska. If we get to go again, I'm sure we will need it then. The cruise was wonderful by itself, yet adding the land tour made it complete. Realizing we only scratched the service of seeing all there is to see in Alaska. We did get to see Denali, even though it was for about 10 minutes. We were blessed.

Beautiful ports! We got on and off ship smoothly eac time. Amazing glaciers and sights, fun casino. Poor ship and food. We got cheated on 7th day of 7 day cruise. And cheated on last day of land cruise!

Watch out Princess will nickel and dime you on every place they can. The internet connection is very poor the paid for restaurants are ok. The regular dining halls have very little choices for those who are trying not to gain weight on a cruise Overall old fashion attitude on everything.

Wonderful time! My husband and I just completed the cruise with the pre land tour, the Canadian Rockies and railroad tour. The scenery was spectacular! Met lots of nice fellow travelers. Cruise was super! Food was great. Enjoyed the Club Class option. Our two waitresses were the best! The ship is scheduled for a dry dock in December we heard. It needs it poor thing. She needs some sprucing up. Despite that, we had a wonderful time. Our captain was the best! Got to see glaciers as close as possible!

WE very much enjoyed visiting Alaska. For the money we spent, we expected more from the cruise overall. The land portion in particular did not meed our expectations.

Overall, worth every penny. Great memories and made us excited about cruising again. The views from the balcony were phenomenal as was the cruising. More food then anyone could ever eat. delicacies for every palate.

A wonderful experience filled with fun times, laughter and majestic views. The crew were very friendly and accommodating throughout the voyage. The Captain on the Star Princess was the best, very interactive with those traveling either over the IMC or when he roamed the ship talking to passengers. A great experience and our group had a great time.

An amazing experience. Seeing Hubbard Glacier and getting into Glacier Bay National Park made this trip so memorable. Having been on a number of cruises in the past this is the first time the cruise really was front and center as the experience rather than just a way to get from one port to another. I highly recommend the Southbound Princess journey to see Hubbard and the Star was just wonderful. Especially her Captain who would say, Nevertheless, bye bye!

Forget the land portion of the cruise. A waste of time and money. Cruise portion okay. Would be nice if the cruise included more excursion type of activities included in the cruise. Overall, not impressed with this cruise. We did the glacier and whale watch. The glacier part your on your own, for that much money a tour guide would seem appropriate. The whale portion was great. However, if you had already seen whales not sure if the amount of money it cost justifieds seeing them again.

Overall the Alaskan cruise on the Star Princess is a highly recommended cruise. Ports were excellent. Ship and crew were great and the weather was absolutely wonderful.....

We truly enjoyed our visit to Alaska. Yhe wildernesd was amazing. We didn't think we would enjoy it as much as we did! Dressing for dinner and going to shows each night was a lovely way to enjoy the vastness of Alaska. Only the food was a disappointment!!

Cruising is the best way to see the inside passage. The people are the best part, the service is great. Having shopping shoved down my throat at every turn was enough to spoil what should have been a wonderful vacation. I will never cruise again, I will warn others about this.

The experience was fun, we were lucky with the weather. The ship is fine and the crew lovely. We would have liked an adult section for the spa, hot tub inside. I have done this on Norwegian. The entertain was okay but a little crowded. The staff at the Vinebar was understaffed. Some other areas-the land section were very understaffed.

Best cruise we have ever taken. Alaska was breath taking!!!! Only trouble we had was if Tim's card didn't work they would charge my card and I did not have the drink specials which meant we had to go to customer service to get it taken off .

Highly recommend both land and cruise. Pictures, do not do the scenery justice. We ate at Olivers in Shagwag, the king crab legs were the best I've ever had! Enjoyed hanging out at the Red Inion Saloon.

This is not what we were expecting. We wanted to experience the real life of living in Alaska. Would have like more information about the state, living conditions, education, local customs and more guest speakers. 3 out of 4 members of our party came home sick. We returned to home on June 27 and were sick for another 10 days.

The cruise and staff were amazing. A lot to see and do. Would highly recommend it. The captain was awesome slowing down so we could enjoy amazing views 

This was an excellent first cruise. Enjoyed the food and staff was excellent. The Alaskan scenery was spectacular. Appreciated the naturalist and park rangers on board for Glacier Bay. No complaints about the Star Princess!

I would not recommend the and portion of this cruise to anyone. Your attention to detail was lacking and taking care of your guest was not your main concern. The sea portion was better, but you other cruises have been on were far superior.
