Review summary
I highly recommend this trip if you want to experience Polynesia. Many sea days, but because of the Great Captain, Awesome Cruise Director, a Bartender named NEMO (yes, that is his real name!) this trip couldn't have been any better. Numerous activities if you want, plenty of quiet sea gazing days if you want, it's all there.

Onboard Activities

So much to do or nothing to do....all depends on what you choose to do. The cruise director on the ship 'Fernando' was spectacular. His staff was outgoing, fun, timely, just a great team lead by a great example of a great leader. Cruise Director "Fernando" is a plus for Princess.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Once again, Kudos to the Cruise Director & his Team. They provided an outstanding variety of entertainment; comedy, game shows, pool side entertainment, music, bands, dancing, horseracing, bingo, cocktail making, oh my...so much to take in if you want, yet plenty of quiet relaxing time if you want that too.

Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The Captain of the ship, Michele Tuvo, was top of the line! He was visible, active, personable, the absolute best captain on any ship I've traveled on. His daily updates on the audio system were informative, funny, and timely. Because of his leadership & care of his ship, staff, and passengers, the entire staff was a reflection of him. I can't say enough about this mans leadership, knowledge, and passion for what he does.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
The staff on the ship was on top of anything and everything that was out of place. Clean ship, easy to navigate, great crew with awesome leadership.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Adequate in size overall, clean and comfortable. Only complaint is that the showers on the Princess ships are much too tiny, no areas in the shower to put your body wash, razor, etc. Impossible for a woman to shave her legs in the shower :o
Ship tip
Use the ships app on your phone. It costs nothing, can be dowloaded from the ship. The app provides up to date ship account info, activities for the day, a layout of the ship, it's all there at your fingertips.
We did a tour, Waikiki Beach, Hanauma Bay, Pali lookout. Nice way to see highlights. We then took in a Luau (Germaines Luau) that was fun and worth the time and money.
Snorkel trip was a blast. Great crew. The boat looked old and not maintained well, but the trip wasn't about the boat, it was the experience, the fun, and the crew that made it wonderful.
We visited the Ocean Center, enjoyed it very much. I wish we had more time there. Then our tour took us to the beach, very nice. Good excursion, just not long enough.
We toured the Island, which is beautiful. Went to the beach, again it was breathtaking, beautiful. The Samoan culture is a mix of the Polynesian islands with a strong New Zealand influence, yet a twist of their own family up bringing.
OMG, can't say enough about this Island. We did a sail & snorkel plus an Island Tour. If you go to this Island, get off the ship and explore. Absolutely stunning.
We love Moorea. We went to a Motu, small island where we had a BBQ, Polynesian music, loads of fun. On the way to the Motu we stopped at a huge sand bar where we were able to swim with reef sharks and stingrays. Sounds crazy, but it was like hanging with goldfish and turtles. If you respect them and their environment, they welcome you and share their amazing underwater world. Peaceful, tranquil, no worries.
Again, We swam with reef sharks & Stingrays that were like hanging with goldfish and turtles. I once again have this Beautiful place back on my bucket list.
