Again - this sister cruise was one of the best trips I've ever experienced. In fact, I had such a great time - that now my husband and I will be repeating this cruise in just 9 more days!

Onboard Activities

We enjoyed all of the activities. Dave Clark was the Cruise Director and he was very entertaining and had us laughing all the time.
We enjoyed the freedom of the Hop-on-Hop Off buses and toured the city and visited Rainbow Falls. We went back to the ship, changed into swimsuits and got our snorkeling equipment and returned to Black Beach to swim with the turtles.
We enjoyed a walking tour of the city and learned all about the Golden Plover bird from a local, after sighting this bird. We learned this bird lives in Alaska during the summer months, then when winter approaches, set off for it's trip to Hawaii, of a distance of about 2,500 miles. Also, as there are no islands along the way, this trip lasts about 88 hours!
We went on the Atlantis Submarine and Adventure & Waikiki tour. I thought Waikiki was beautiful, but the submarine ride was less then expected, too crowded and pretty much staged.
Our scheduled beach tour was cancelled due to a recent storm, which had taken much of the beach. We improvised by taking local transportation to the same Lahaina beach and enjoying time in the surf. Upon returning, we visited many of the local shops and this is where my sister and I purchased matching Hawaiian Dresses to wear later on our trip, at our Crown Grill dinner.
Had planned to go on a wine tour here, but we cancelled our tour and just walked the market area. We enjoyed an authentic Mexican breakfast meal at a location where we noticed a group of Princess Cruise entertainers dining together. We were not disappointed!
Except for forgetting to pack all my dirty clothes the night before when we set out our luggage - this part of the trip went without incident. We did avoid a customs search after being informed that I was not allowed to open my luggage and stuff my dirty stuff into the suitcases - IN THE CUSTOMS AREA! Big opps!!!! We had to go to the other side of the wall to complete that task.
