Sovereign of the Seas

3 Night Bahamas (Port Canaveral Roundtrip)

Sail date: October 06, 2006

Ship: Sovereign of the Seas

Cabin type: Oceanview

Reviewed: 14 years ago

Review summary

As an older ship it was smaller than I'm used to. That actually made it easier for my 82 year old mother to get from place to place. Cabins were quite small and the bed was narrow and very uncomfortable. Entertainers on the ship were the best I'd ever seen. Crew was pleasant and helpful. Overall it was a great way to spend the weekend.

Best thing to do is go to the beach. We went to the Atlantis and found they quit selling wrist bands for daily access to their pool area at noon. They were quite rude. They did offer to rent us a room for the day for $250. this would allow 4 people access to the pool.

Cococay (Cruise Line's Private Island)

5 out of 5
Very relaxing day on the beach. Teenagers loved the play area with water slides, tramplines, etc. Snorkling was fun and we saw a variety of fish. 2-year old loved the soft sandy beach with no waves to knock him down.
