3 Night Bahamas (Port Canaveral Roundtrip)

Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple

My wife and I were on the 3-night sailing out of Port Canaveral on Sept 22, 2006. We are respectively 41 and 40 years old and this was our 7th cruise; 2nd cruise with RCCL and the first one without our two teenagers. Everything on board was superb from the staff, the food, the entertainment and the destinations.

Boarding was very easy once we passed the security folks checking for IDs outside the cruise terminal - max of 20 minutes from stepping inside the terminal to walking on the ship.

Nassau: we visited the island at various occasion and it is still a pleasant area. They are doing a good job in renovating various areas of the city and the locals are still a friendly population. The downside is the 1:30am departure at night. Everything closes early in Nassau so you no other choice but to stay on-board at night or go to the Atlantis Hotel on Paradise Island which is not too far away. Staying on-board is not a bad choice because the ship has everything for every taste.

Public Beach just beside the RIU Hotel is fantastic and not as crowded as the one in front of the Atlantis Resort. All sport activities are available ($$$) - parasailing, sea-doo, massage on the beach, etc.
Don't Miss: Lobby of the Atlantis Hotel

Beautiful and prestine island. Very nice setting with tons of chairs, hamacs and many water activities. We did the Waverunner which is a guided tour of various tiny islands on these powerful individual boat vessel - You have to try it!!!! Food on the island is BBQ style and plentiful.
Don't Miss: Waverunner - WOW!!!!
